Beaver Vending machines: Review of Their Gumball, Candy, and Toy Machines
Beaver vending machines have been around for generations and are a very quality machine. I speak from experience having bought over 2,900 of their machines and almost as many of the Beaver machine stands.
I have many of their machines which have been in the field for more than 15 years. The parts of the machine considered the most reliable are the expensive parts (the coin mechanism and the internal dispensers of product). I also have Northwestern Vending machines and Vendstar machines, and the Beavers are far more reliable and tough in the field.
For a complete review, I will give you a few drawbacks I have experienced as well. The number one drawback by far is the expense to replace parts. They are very high. Thankfully, that is not very often. Other problems I have had which are not out of line are the plastic bases breaking and globes occaisonally cracking. This is part of having a machine in the field in operation and is not out of line with normal use.
Beaver vending machines can be considered the "Cadillac" of vending machines on the market. When deciding on types of machines, you have to consider if you want to spend more on the front end for quality. If yes, then Beaver vending machines are a great choice. Beaver stands are just as good and have a great chrome finish which holds up well.
The Beaver vending machine company sells different types and setups of bulk vending machines for the business. Most of their machines convert easily to sell gumballs, candy, or toy capsules. They are specialists in toy vending "towers" - very tall machines which hold hundreds of capsules. Many operators sell candy with gumballs in their Beaver machines. Candy vending is easy to do with these machines and is reliable in the amount dispensed every time. The Northern Beaver vending machines all the operator to sell 2" capsules. 2" capsule machines (Northern Beavers) can be added to the machines that sell 1" product (toys, gumballs, candy) on different stands and racks to fit the need of every business location you have. They also have a flat vending tattoo machine to add to toy rack vending.
Beaver vending has not compensated me for this review. I run these machines every week and am sold on them. One word of caution: My review is based on the older RB16 machines made of steel. Newer machines may not be made of the same material. Contact the company and verify all information as production standards can sometimes change. You want to stay away from aluminum made machines in my opinion. Hope this review helps you!
